The standard Article Processing Charge (APC) for IMSYP journals is 150 USD per accepted manuscript. In support of open access and global knowledge dissemination, all APCs are waived until 30 March 2026. During this period, authors may publish in any IMSYP journal at 0 USD.

Note on APC Waiver (Free*)

Free* – IMSYP journals do not charge Article Processing Charges (APCs) for manuscripts that are accepted until 30 March 2026. During this promotional period, high-quality manuscripts that successfully pass peer review and editorial checks will be published free of charge.

Please note that an additional fee may be charged if the submitted article requires English language editing and proofreading. This applies if our editorial team identifies the need during the initial technical assessment, or if a peer reviewer recommends language improvement as a condition for publication. The fee will be communicated in advance and applied only with the author’s approval.

Refund Policy

We are committed to maintaining transparency and fairness in all financial matters. Please carefully review the following refund terms, which will apply once APCs are actively charged:

• No Submission Fee: Manuscripts are reviewed without any initial charge.
• APC After Acceptance: Payment is required only after acceptance of the manuscript.
• Non-Refundable APC: Once payment is received and processing begins, the APC cannot be refunded.
• Overpayment Refund: Any overpayment will be refunded within 30 business days.

APC Discount Policy for Authors from Least Developed Countries (LDCs)

IMSYP plans to offer a 50% discount on APCs to authors affiliated with institutions located in selected United Nations–designated Least Developed Countries (LDCs), once APCs are implemented in the future. The discount will apply only to authors from eligible countries listed below.

Eligibility Criteria

• Primary Affiliation in an Eligible LDC: All authors must belong to institutions in one of the listed countries.
• Required Proof: Institutional email, affiliation letter, or valid institutional ID.
• Consistency: All co-authors must meet the LDC requirement to qualify for the discount.

Angola, Bangladesh, Benin, Cambodia, Comoros, Djibouti, Ethiopia, Ghana, Guinea, India, Kenya, Kiribati, Lao People’s Democratic Republic, Lesotho, Liberia, Madagascar, Malawi, Mauritania, Mozambique, Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan, Rwanda, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Solomon Islands, Timor-Leste, Togo, Tuvalu, Uganda, United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia.

How to Apply

Authors should indicate their eligibility for the LDC discount at submission time. Documentation may be uploaded during submission or after acceptance. Eligibility will be verified before the final invoice is issued.

Special APC Waiver for Highly Cited Researchers (Planned Policy)

IMSYP may introduce a special APC waiver program for researchers listed among the world’s top 2% most cited scientists (Stanford/Elsevier list). Full details will be announced once activated.
